The Cooks Beach Summer Gala raises funds for Whenuakite School and is held at the Central Reserve, Cooks Beach on 4th January (every year) from 9 am to 2 pm.  Applications from Stall Holders are welcome - please apply early to avoid missing out STALLS

 

Highlights at this year's Gala:

                                             NEW FOR 2021: Food Trucks, Family fun games

  • The  Richardsons Real Estate ‘Daisy Dung Drop’ – guess where Daisy (the pony) will do her dung, and you will win $1000 – sponsored by Richardson’s Real Estate Cooks Beach and Hahei (Tickets $5)

  • Over 100 stalls

  • The Mercury Bay Informer Jar Throw - some amazing prizes are up for grabs - – sponsored by The Mercury Bay Informer

  • Whenuakite School Sustainable Goods and produce stall

  • Music & Face painting

  • Rides and entertainment

  • Food: Whenuakite School Infamous OPC Mussel Fritters as well as Famous Whitianga Butcher Sausages,

  • EFTPOS facility will be available for cash on the day, at the Fire Brigade

Head to the Centre of Cooks Beach – all signposted - or catch the  Whitianga Ferry from Whitianga to Ferry Landing, then

  • Cycle (15 min)
